Those in the food industry certainly play a big part in the level of food waste in the UK and in 2008 the government launched a campaign to curb three for two offers in supermarkets, which encourage consumers to bulk-buy food which they inevitably don’t need and end up throwing away. But has this campaign really made a difference?
