How To Deal With The Problem Of Transporting Kitchen Waste To The Compost

When composting, one of the most common problems that many people run into is how to carry their kitchen waste from the kitchen to the compost. Even more challenging is the quandary of what to do with the kitchen compost between gathering it and getting it to the compost pile. While kitchen scraps could for sure be taken out on a regular basis, this can sometimes turn too much of a burden for numerous people, especially when preparing multiple repasts per day.

Building A Wind Generator

Building a wind generator is a much more cost effective solution than buying one. The average price of a 1000 watt wind generator is USD $2500. I would have to save up for more than a year to be able to buy one. That’s why I built my own wind generator.

It’s not as difficult as you might think either. A wind generator has some basic parts. I’ll deal with the tower first.

Making Use Of Compost

Compost is a mixture of decaying organic matter used to improve soil structure, and provide nutrients.

Examples of compost are a mixture of leaves, twigs, branches, grass clippings, yard waste and manure. Anything that was once alive will naturally crumble and will become easy to use for composting.

Composting is a great way to trim down wastes, get wet garbage out of the can and make use out of it, have a free product for your garden and nurture the earth.
