Getting Green to Help Mother Earth, Solar Energy Facts

A lot of people think of these large panels on the roof of homes, when they think of solar energy and solar power.  Let’s talk about some other solar energy facts.  Although it came to light, so to speak, in the 1960s, solar energy has advanced and can be used for everything from warming our households to fueling our cars.  Solar energy is free.  Our electrical energy bills get higher each and every year.  We can take this solar power using Earth4Energys kit for a fraction of what it cost us for electricity.  We hear that the environment is having troubles with global warming, green house gases, but solar power if we decide to use and invest in it, is positive for the environment.

Climate Change – is it the Ongoing Evolution of Earth?

Many people throughout the world have been conditioned into believing the unproven theory that global warming is caused by mans’ industrial activities. However the opponents of this theory point to instances in the past when global warming, without the influence of man, did take place.

The scientific community agree that the earth is about 4.5 billion years old and during that time its accepted as a known scientific fact that it’s undergone at least 12, and possibly 14 major periods of climate change. In addition to this there have been numerous minor changes to the earth’s climate.

8. Climate Change — Has the Earth been cooling?

This video also looks at whether other planets are also warming, and an Internet myth that NASA is now attributing warming to the sun. In this video I examine the importance of sources — tracking information back to a source and making sure the source is credible. My sources are cited in the video, but I’ll also post them here. Sources are also cited throughout my climate change series. These videos are not a personal opinion or a theory of my own; I’m not a climate scientist or a researcher and I have no qualifications to do anything other than report on what real climate scientists have discovered through their research. So there’s no point in disagreeing with me. If you dislike their conclusions, take it up with the researchers I cite. If I’ve made a mistake in reporting their conclusions, please pooint out the mistake and I will happily correct it. If you think you know better than the experts, write a paper and have it published in a respected, peer-reviewed scientific journal.

I will tell you exactly why over a 4-month period I was frustrated and angry by the increasing utility costs. I felt like a hostage by the power company. No matter what, I had to comply with unfairly increasing energy prices… and how I finally managed to save a lot of money with a unique product called ‘ Earth 4 Energy’.

How Is The Meat In Your Burger Causing Global Warming?

Hamburger
Image via Wikipedia

As you’re biting into that nice, juicy king-size burger, have you ever thought how much you’re contributing to global warming?

I hadn’t. Cattle, though, are a major problem for the environment. As cows are busy munching away in their pastures, their multiple stomachs are producing methane.

Methane is a particularly potent greenhouse gas, 25 times more powerful than carbon dioxide for global warming. According to The Journal of Animal Science, livestock produce between 250 and 500 litres of methane every single day! At the top end of the estimate, that enough to fill 250 large bottles of Coke.
